I realized my wallet was missing when I tried to pay for my purchases at the pharmacy. Please tell me how you happened to find my wallet. I am cancelling my credit cards right now but would be happy to have the wallet returned if you are willing to do so. Let me know how to contact you. Reply to notgordian asking about his investigative methods, and whether I could get in touch with Novak to hear about his side of things

Thank you for your interest in the profession. I'm sorry to make such a brief response at this time, but as you noticed, I'm a little under the weather. As soon as this clears up, I'll contact you again with answers to your questions. I appreciate your reading my blog, hope I haven't gotten too personal on some of those posts.

As for Novak, I'll have to contact him first and ask if he will allow me to respond to your questions. Our relationship works on the basis of a high degree of confidentiality, and Novak is a little shy of strangers. I don't feel comfortable discussing him without his knowledge, but perhaps he would be interested in contacting you himself, if you'll allow me to pass on your contact info. I hope you understand.

The parents would be extremely displeased if I were to start pointing out a child's profile to anyone who emails me. Although I'm sure you mean no harm, I will not answer any questions about that case whatsoever. If you know the girl who has my wallet, she has my address, as it is on my driver's license. She can mail the wallet back to me if she chooses. As for what they did to me… I would like to know that, too.

Hello, Michael -

You found a letter meant for me? In Boston? Is this a conspiracy or a coincidence? Am I paranoid, or am I really being followed? Or both?

Were you the person I was supposed to meet there?

I looked over this ritual that you sent me. Something about it… feels right. I wonder if that's another symptom of my current problem, but I can't tell. I don't know if I'll be able to gather all of these things - I don't even know any women personally, except for my ex-wife, and she'll be more than happy to tell the court I'm crazy if I ask her to tie a red string or blow out a candle. The trip took just about everything out of me. I don't know what to do - I don't think I can do this by myself. Have you ever reached a point where you just can't swim against the current anymore? Whatever this is, whoever you are, I'm asking for your help. Can you help me?

Michael,

I have had a few e-mails offering support for gathering the items. I'm trying to organize my thoughts and having a very difficult time doing so. Death just seems to be everywhere. It seems as though hell is trying to welcome me, reaching out between the ethereal and rip me from this reality of ours. I don't know what is happening to me and I'm scared to go out in public anymore. Everybody looks like walking corpses, I guess you would say they look like zombies, but then they would look normal. I cry myself to sleep wishing this would all end, wishing it all would end.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help me. This wheel thing you found looks very interesting. I wonder what it is for? Do you know how it works or anything?

As for gathering the oak, again thank you. Your last e-mail happened to misspell my last name. You would be surprised how annoyed I typically would be when someone would call me that. I caught hell in grade school because I had a slight lisp and everyone harassed me for "slurring" my words. I'm sure you didn't know that and I have no idea why I am rambling on about grade school. Probably something to do with the fact that when I woke up this morning that damned mushroom was back and standing over my bed! The hallucinations are getting worse by the day and the mushroom is a comedic break from the death and destruction I've been seeing so much of. I walk outside and I see corpses everywhere and they seem to be reaching to me trying to pull at me. Hell on earth or close to death, I don't know. The sooner we can get this ritual done the better.

Thank you for sending this on to me. Perhaps I should check my e-mail from oldest to newest rather than vice versa? Andrew, I believe his name was without going back and double checking, sent me basically the same message you did. He did include the decryption for it, I guess using a cipher wheel he had found in Boston. I'm going to give you the short and skinny of it.

Amun wants me to help find and protect some "Awlyn" children that are missing. I'm not quite sure what an "Awlyn" is yet but I am going to offer to help. I just need him to give me more information about what is going on. He seems to want to keep this conversation between he and I somewhat private, why else encrypt it? So I suppose my next thing is to find a way to work it in to send him a message without the rest of the world realizing what it is.

Now, the latin in the begining is the same Amun used to end his letter to you. This lead me to break out the Cipher Wheel found in Boston and attempt to use it. It turns out that for each bracketed set you line up the code in groups of ten then, using the number of periods before that set, move up or down that number of rows and read the cleartext. The resulting message, apparently from Amun (who else coudl it be?) reads as follows:

It seems that Amun is asking for your help with the dissappearance of these Awlyn children… Look, this all seems rather.. incredible, but frankly..I mean, the ritual worked, didn't it? I guess what I'm saying is that if you choose to follow up on this, I - and others - would wish to support you. Partly out of curiosity to hear more about these "Awlyn" and find the truth of all this (I'm a curious fellow).. secondly, if there ARE children at risk, can anyone turn their back on them regardless of the tale?

I'm rambling now. I've been staring at that wheel for far too long and my brain is fuzzy. I hope to hear from you soon Mikey.

Yes I saw that spam comment. I actually did not mean to approve it. After reading your message I went to the blogspot account you mentioned and saw only that one picture. Interesting how you were able to determine that the picture was stegged, does your friend desteg everything he runs across?

As for the message - what does he mean by Awlyn children? I've not quite grasped that either. Anyway, children being absconded with - that is my thing, but I'm going to need more information then that to help him. Now I just have to figure out how to respond to him in kind. I assume he's wanting to keep the world from knowing what he's getting at with these messages.

I wonder if he realizes you guys are helping me and finding his messages? I'll ry not to make any mention of it so if he's got a temper he won't go off at us. Now I'm going to go try to figure out how to let him know I'm willing to help but need more information.

Thanks - I'm more than willing to help him. Would you mind encoding a message to let him know that I will help? Then do you have any suggestions for how I can get the message to them? They know how to reach me, but I don't know how to reach them. I guess I'm supposed to be creative about it, but it's not like I can just post a coded message right in my blog, huh?

I have run this idea by my friends and all seem to think it is a good plan. I would like your thoughts, as well. Also, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope you got around to buying that cheeseburger.

Thanks for sending me the picture with the message. I hope it gets the point across. I'm going to write something creative for him, so that it fits with what I do. Novak's a little freaked out by anything that might be black magic, voodoo, hoodoo, or whatever it was. I've got no inhibitions in those regards, obviously. I think it's the way his parents raised him, sheltered in a southern baptist home. He rebelled a bit, but for the most part he's still scared of some things that might spiritually condemn him.

I'm going to try to send him a message and let him know that I'm going to start with the two girls with the myspace refuge thing. The novahelix37 guy is definitely a child predator. I'm going to do some research and see if I can find out any more information about him, hopefully the girls are still alive and unhurt.

I do have one question that maybe you and your friends can help me with. I was looking at those documents he had sent me in the last batch. I'm trying to figure out what the deal is with the black cat. Here's this government lab that is doing experiments on the awlyn and the guy who is observing this makes a list of what is in the containment area (I think that's what he called it without looking back at it now). There are people in there and a cat. I keep thinking about that and it feels strongly familiar. I even had a dream last night that one of those girls I was following had turned into a cat. It is strange because I don't even remember what had happened that day, so I wonder if that's some sort of repressed memory trying to surface. It seems a little far stretched, but then I read about this girl mentioning that she turns furry once a month. Let me know your thoughts.
