History

Hutchinson BioTech was founded in 1948, but the roots of the company extend back to the earliest roots of Bioengineering. The founders of Hutchinson began their journey in Germany working on increasing gains from barley fields. As children of German brew masters and brilliant scientists, Gillian Hutchinson and Marc Steinz became two of Germany's leading bioengineers.
During World War II, Gillian and Marc were imprisoned by the Nazi regime and forced to work on projects to increase war fighter capabilities in the German soldiers. The two were able to achieve many advances in bioengineering, but they sought asylum with the United States Government after the war. They founded Hutchinson-Steinz Bioengineering Corporation in 1948.
In the Mid-1970s the working relationship between Gillian and Marc had grown into a more personal relationship. The relationship between the two wound tight like a DNA helix and is represented in the Hutchinson Biotech logo. In 1975 Gillian died during childbirth. Marc's depression led to a long standing reclusiveness in which he had staff remove all pictures of both he and Gillian. On the 2nd anniversary of her death he officially renamed Hutchinson-Steinz Bioengineering Corporation to Hutchinson Biotechnology.
After the first Gulf War in 1991, Marc Steinz announced his retirement and his replacement as lead researcher was to be his nephew Nathan Steinz. Nathan has been a strong force in developing a working partnership between Hutchinson BioTech and the United States Military where we work to increase the war fighting capabilities of the American soldiers.

Products

Clarica

Clarica was developed for the United States Military in an effort to increase response and readiness for the American soldier. Clarica works as a stimulant to increase awareness and reduce fatigue in the human body. Unlike stimulants Clarica does not increase heart rate, reduce viscosity of the blood, and is non-habit forming.
Clarica works through temporary gene therapy. Scientists at Hutchinson BioTech discovered a variety of genes in both males and females which directly correspond to mental fatigue and the need for the body to rest.
Clarica should be taken once a week and only with your physician's approval. Side effects are limited but include abnormal hair growth and increased flatulence.

Bytex

Bytex has been in development since the end of the Vietnam Conflict. It has long been known that the number one cause of fatality for wounded soldiers has been through blood loss. While there are a number of methods to help reduce blood loss, Bytex is the first fabric based method for treating the soldier immediately upon receiving the wound.
Hutchinson BioTech has genetically engineered cotton to produce several molecules that when dispersed into a human blood stream will immediately stimulate coagulation even in severe cases of arterial bleeding. This helps to reduce the need for turnicate which would immediately result in the loss of the affected limb.
Bytex disperses these molecules when the fabric is penetrated by shrapnel or other foreign materials. The molecules enter the wounded area immediately and within moments blood begins clotting around the wound.
Bytex increases the soldier's survivability and reduces the need for other soldiers to place themselves into harm's way to immediately begin treating other wounded soldiers. When used with body armor and other personal protection equipment, Bytex will greatly improve the chances of surviving in wartime environments.

Poultrex

Poultrex is the ultimate solution for individuals seeking to increase their yield of poultry houses. Poultrex is similar to the traditional steroid treatments in that it enhances growth in birds raised for slaughter and reproduction rates in birds raised for laying eggs.
Unlike steroids there is no abnormal side effects noted when using Poultrex. Poultrex will not increase the maturation rate of young females ingesting the bird as steroids have been theorized to do for some time now. Poultrex will not affect the taste or texture of the meat of the birds.
When birds treated with Poultrex begin laying eggs, they will produce on average 75% more. The eggs will show an increase in size of approximately 1/3rd. The eggs will produce 88% more egg white and reduce cholesterol by 23%.
