You helped him with the ritual? Thank you! I was hoping somebody would, but I didn't think I should with everything happening.

I take it you're one of us if you knew about the ritual. Do you attend SLA or graduate from there? I'd guess that if you took Biology you would know that he's not in any danger of losing his mind anymore. I would hope they teach that in Biology, that's what I understand of the class anyway.

I have been e-mailing Mikey the past several days. Link, another kid that messaged me, suggested that I should talk to him about Sarah. We've been discussing anything that I might know that might help him find her. I couldn't think about anything other than her talking about some guy she had met online. She'd gotten in trouble about it, but she kept talking to Iso and I about him.

We're worried about her, but everyone keeps telling us to forget about her. How can I do that? How can you forget family? It's horrible that the Dragon Council does this to us and are they even trying to help? Mikey might not be one of us, but at least he seems to care. If you're going to school this year make sure you sign up for the Students for Equality Amongst all Life. I think this is going to be the only way we can stand up to the DC. Somebody has to right?

Nov 02, 2008 regarding the research on Croatoan

Everything's happening all at once. I'm going to post a video tomorrow trying to explain exactly what's gone on the past few days, but in the meantime I'll try to answer your questions.

Yeah, we still have the book. We're done with the research we did in it, but I haven't had the opportunity to sneak back into the restricted section to put it back. Croatoan was apparently found both burned into a tree at Roanoke (which was made up primarily by Awlyn) and carved in a stone in Yorkshire, England. Of course, the freaky part is that Croatoan is an old-Awlyn word meaning 'revenge.' Tiernan Pendrak was tracked down by the Council (for some sort of crime, I imagine). Also, the Council killed a pregnant human woman and disposed of her child. Somehow, I feel like we might've talked about this in one of our classes, but I can't say for sure. I'm honestly still not entirely sure how it all fits together, because the book only deals with the Council's actions, but I have a feeling that we're close to understanding the full story.

Yeah, some teachers have left. There are a few professors who keep trying to pretend everything's normal, but we can tell that they're scared, too. A lot of students have gone home to be with their families. Nobody knows exactly where the rumors about these kidnappings came from, but everyone's scared. Eldred Wulfheard's death was the spark that made everyone freak out.

I'm assuming that Sarah was taken by Hutchinson, but I have no idea why. I imagine that the other supposed kidnap victims were, too. This really pisses me off, because Hutchinson is one of SLA's biggest sponsors. There are a million ways that Hutchinson could've collected our personal information, and it's scary.

As for your advice on keeping a low profile: I'm sorry, but I won't do that anymore. It was because we all kept a low profile that the kidnappings happened. It was because we had to live in secrecy that these crimes could occur without intervention from the law. Hiding is the problem, not the solution.
